How do I get a building permit?

We take care of the entire permit process! From engaging our draftsmen, applying via a building surveyor, to liaising with council and service authorities - you won’t need to do a thing!

How long does a building permit usually take?

The time it takes for permit approval will vary according to the complexity of the project. In most cases the permit process will take anywhere between 2 to 8 weeks however this may be longer for complicated permit applications. We will always keep you informed along the way, touching base with regular updates on the progress of your permit.

How much does a veranda cost?

We offer different solutions for each property so there is no set cost for our verandas. We do, however, offer free, no obligation consultations on-site, where a professional will go through your chosen design to ensure you receive an honest and accurate quote.

MBV offers a platinum 25-year structural warranty from our material supplier and an industry leading 15-year workmanship warranty. This covers you completely however it’s rarely needed as your new structure is built to stand the test of time.

Where do you source materials from?

All our materials are made from 100% Aussie BlueScope and Colorbond steel - no nasty knockoffs! We use trusted brands such as Fielders and Stratco who have been supplying Aussies with building materials for decades. When discussing your project, we will recommend the most suitable materials to help enhance both style and function.

We would like you to take care of the entire backyard renovation - do you offer additional services?

MBV can project manage your entire project including decking, balustrades, stairs, rendered walls, brick piers, plumbing, electrical works, lighting, fans, heat strips, concrete, timber screens, cafe blinds, aluminium slats, gates, outdoor kitchens, windows, sliding doors and much more!

Are you qualified, insured and experienced?
